Alliance Steering Group

The Alliance Steering Group (ASG) plays a vital role in guiding the Wet Tropics Restoration Alliance. Its purpose is to:

  • support delivering an annual member-endorsed workplan

  • provide strategic advice to advance the Alliance’s objectives

  • ensure the issues and interests of members are reflected in Alliance activities

  • participate in workshops, field days and working groups

  • act as champions for restoration in the Wet Tropics region.

ASG members meet quarterly (online or in person) and contribute their skills and perspectives across science, restoration, First Nations knowledge, natural capital, sustainable land management, and community engagement.
