Call for Participants: Mini-workshop on addressing additional Alliance workplan activities

As highlighted in the Alliance update, there are two additional activities outside of the current Alliance Coordination Team's workplan that require attention.

The Alliance Coordination Team is inviting interested individuals to join a one-day mini-workshop aimed at exploring the feasibility of addressing these additional activities. These activities include:

  1. Gaps in priority restoration maps and online mapping tools, and

  2. A restoration project database

While funding has been secured to support core workplan activities through to December 2026, there are insufficient resources for the Alliance Coordination Team to work on the additional activities listed above. Both core and additional workplan activities have been identified as critical priorities based on feedback from members over the past 18 months through surveys and workshops.

The workshop date is still to be confirmed but will likely be held in June or July 2025.

If you are interested in participating, please email restoration@wtma.qld.gov.au to register your interest.
